The United Methodist Way: A Convocation

At the last probationary residency meeting which I attended, we spent time discussing The United Methodist Way (PDF Document) which is a document that was used as a part of a gathering of bishops, district superintendents and other conference leaders at Lake Junaluska at the first of November. From the website:

On November 9-11, 2007, the Council of Bishops hosted the Extended Cabinets of The United Methodist Church at a convocation focusing on living The United Methodist Way.

A simple description to describe what I think was an important gathering. What do you think about the gathering? Did you hear about it? What do you think of some of the other articles? Look for more thoughts here soon.
