I often spend time imagining the United Methodist Church in Kansas – what might be possible in the future, praying for renewal, and seeking to be an active part in a spiritual revival in the state. A picture of hope that I have seen recently is this:
This graphic is in the middle of the home page for the Kansas West Annual Conference. It does not contain a link, does not refer particularly to any of the sections that surround it. To me it is a whimsical reminder that God is at work in unexpected places – communities small and large, local congregations and even in our own lives.
