Last week, in Mark 12:28-44, we delved into the greatest commandment—loving God and loving others—and saw Jesus commend a poor widow for her sacrificial giving.
Today, as we turn our attention to Mark 13:1-8 and 24-37, we find Jesus preparing his disciples for the challenges. He warns them of the impending destruction of the temple and the trials they will face in the future.
