I had the opportunity to write the prayer guide at Resurrection this week. The prayer for the day is:
O God, your presence warms our soul. When your world seems cold and bleak, propel your Spirit to warm all the cold places. In times when our own hearts are cold we ask for you to warm them and soften them. Not only so that we might escape from the cold, but so that we may guide others to the warmth of your being. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
