One of the great values of blogging and reading blogs is that it allows one to connect with people with whom contact me never otherwise be made. I enjoy reading enjoy reading a wide variety of blogs from across the United States and around the world (thanks Google Reader).
I also hope to make greater connection with colleagues that are within the Kansas West or Kansas East Annual Conference. I believe that there is great value in connecting in person and also being able to carry on connection when not in person. I think that blogging is a great way to do that, particularly in an annual conference where there is sometimes great distance separating not only churches, but also towns.
As a result, I would love to increase my awareness and connection with other bloggers within the United Methodist Church in Kansas. Please comment with your blog site or a site of which you are aware – pastors, laity, anyone connected with The United Methodist Church living within the state of Kansas. Thanks and here’s to a greater connection!

Great idea Andrew. I’ve included a new blog roll category on my blog for Oklahoma UMC Bloggers because of this post. Thanks for the idea!
Don’t know if you know about my blog or not, http://ministrygeek.net. I post my weekly newsletter article every week, and every month or two I put a big, theological type thing that I’m trying to work through.
Matt – Thanks for the response. I think all we can do to increase the connection is a good thing.
Jeff – Thanks for the link! I’ve posted a link in the right column 🙂
