I had the opportunity to write the prayer guide at Resurrection this week. The prayer for the day is:
O God, sometimes we are burned – by our family, our friends, our co-workers. Lord, we recognize that sometimes we burn others. Send your healing power to sooth the burns in our life. Give us strength to be a healing presence in the life of others. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
