This morning I am at the Emerging Church New Starts conference. More information in a PDF document here. There is a fascinating group of people gathered – most from Georgia, but a few scattered across the country. Some concretely in a new church start, some hoping to be so, some well versed in the emerging conversation, and some curious about it. I find myself as one exploring a possible call to be a new church start pastor, somewhat aware of the emerging movement and curious about becoming more involved in the conversation.
