10 Minutes a Day

This past weekend, Adam Hamilton challenged the congregation in the sermon to give 10 minutes each day until Christmas to spend time with God in prayer, studying scripture and listening to God. I accepted this challenge.

I usually take time to read scripture and pray in the morning for at least 10 minutes, so the 10 minutes will not be a challenge. However, it will be a challenge for me to take this time every day without missing one. Over the past few months, there have been at least one or two days a week when I have not set taken this time to be with God. I think that this is the next step in my journey with God at this time in my life.

What is your next step in loving God and loving your neighbor?
