I had the opportunity to write the prayer guide at Resurrection this week. The introduction for this guide is:
We are in the middle of June and the forecast is hot and sunny. Outside the sun beats down on our skin, the grass, animals and all of creation. This will form the theme for our prayers together this week. At different times and in different ways, we experience burning, brightness, warmth, light and the sun. You are invited to let these prayers be a part of a regular time of prayer for you this week and also let them filter into your mind throughout the day.
