When songs are sung in worship – what do you call it?
- Hymns
- Praise and Worship
- Worship
- Praise
Any other combinations or terms that I may be missing. I am wondering what other settings commonly refer to this element in the service – particularly for services with band instrumentation.

I used to call it worship, until I saw that the kids started to only think of the praise as the only component as worship.
So, nowadays, it’s either praise or worship and praise. For me, at least.

Worship, although it sometimes includes hymns and praise songs.

You could call it the “Set” – thats what its called at a concert.
Maybe Worship through Song, Worship through the word, Worship through prayer
