The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything

Last night, Nicole and I went with some of our good friends, Ben and Molly Simpson to a screening of The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A Veggie Tales Movie. I had received an invitation via email a few weeks ago and decided to see how it was. I am not a huge Veggie Tales fan, but interested enough to give it a try.
It turned out to be a decent show. There were some parts where I laughed out loud - some of the plot and lines were just plain silly. But I think that is what you sign up for when you go to see a Veggie Tales movie. It was certainly not targeted at our age demographic. This was evident in the audience there - mostly young children and their parents. No problem though, it was entertaining, free and it was good to hang out with Ben and Molly.
Would I recommend this movie? Yes - particularly to families with young children and to those who are big fans of Veggie Tales. Do I need to see it again? Probably not.
