All week the story has shown a God who keeps showing up: in the approval spoken over Noah, in the covenant made before the rain, in the wind that moved the waters, in the bow that hangs as God’s own reminder. One of the simplest ways we answer a God like that is the oldest practice there is. We show up for worship. Not to earn anything, but to stand under the bow together and say out loud that God has remembered us. Presence is the first promise, and it is less about willpower than about direction: turning up, again and again, toward the God who turns up for us.
