Doxology of the Called
1 Timothy 1:17 (CEB) · The Gospel on Stage and Screen
“Now to the king of the ages, to the immortal, invisible, and only God, may honor and glory be given to him forever and always! Amen.” — 1 Timothy 1:17 (CEB)
Paul’s testimony does not end with a strategy. It ends with praise. After six verses, the telling builds such pressure that worship is the only possible release. When you really see what mercy has done, praise is the only honest response.
This is the final destination of every call story. Not the impressive ministry, not the clean testimony. Worship. The found disciple ends up in the same posture as the shepherd: thrilled, carrying, celebrating.
Today we close The Gospel on Stage and Screen. Over four weeks we moved from a landowner whose generosity did not add up, through faithfulness when no one watches and the search for the lost, to a calling offered before anyone feels ready. God has been telling the same story all along, and it has been finding you.
To the King of the ages, to the immortal, invisible, and only God, may honor and glory be given forever and always. Amen.
King of the ages, when I see what your mercy has done, praise is the only honest response. Receive my worship today, and let the doxology rise. Amen.
