Did you see me and my daughter on the front row of the church scene?
Nice! Thanks for the tip 🙂
Dude, read the book. I’ll lend you my copy by mail, if that’s what it takes.
I wasn’t terribly impressed with the book, so a cinematic version doesn’t stir much interest in me. However, I have long been a fan of Steve Taylor, so that might cause me to consider watching it sometime.
Donald Miller’s an interesting guy. His recent book A Million Miles in a Thousand Years: What I Learned While Editing My Life talks about the beginnings of the movie project in a self-consciously pomo, self-reflexive way — he tells the story of how he works with the filmmaker to tell the story of his life based on another book about his life (Blue Like Jazz, I assume, though that book goes unnamed) that wasn’t actually a story. Sometimes strange but very interesting.
Cokesbury Harrisburg – Sometimes strange but very interesting. I am intrigued. Thanks for the response!
