I hope the United Methodist Church focuses more on God’s ongoing mission in the world than on its own survival.
i hope the umc can regain its bottom up leadership
can become a transformational movement instead of (or in addition to) an institutional hierarchy.
I hope the United Methodist Church isn’t in every conversation I hear about small, declining churches. “Oh yeah, you should come to my much larger baptist church. We have lots of young adults…”
I hope the United Methodist Church continues to start and learn from newer, more dynamic Methodist churches. They are the future with hope!

I hope the United Methodist Church returns to the teachings in the Bible and turns away from the teachings of the world regarding the acceptance of homosexuality.
