Last night, Barack Obama held a town hall meeting at the Exhibition Hall in Kansas City, MO. I ventured down there with Nicole and a friend on staff at Resurrection. We arrived about 4:30 to find a large crowd already waiting in the lobby waiting to get in – it was packed.
We found that the venue was filled to capacity, but that after he was done speaking inside he would speak with people outside in Barney Allis Plaza. We decided to wait. Here is a video from the event.
It was a short speech, but I found that he really does have a powerful presence and clarity of vision. It was neat to be a part of a political process that is not possible in all countries around the world.
