The little birdies are telling me I am not right - so much for my prognostication abilities. I can't remember what the plan was for RIO grand, but of course RG is non geographical so it overlaps several AC's already.

UMJeremy,

I sure hope not because that would mean I have to move back to Texas. Actually I'd love to but my Kansas City native wife might feel differently.

Remember Goliad, Remember Alamo, Long Live the Republic of Texas!

Doesn't SWTX already share a bishop with Rio Grande? Would that mean a single bishop would preside over three annual conferences? I hope Chuck isn't right.

They have to leave AC boundaries alone unless they are planning on a special session of Jurisdictional Conference, which I think they've already announced they don't plan to do. I think the only really choices are the ones Andrew and Chuck suggest or combining Kansas and Nebraska into one area. I don't think it will be Dallas/Fort Worth. I think Chuck's right.

My prediction -
They combine Southwest Texas and New Mexico into a Bishops area - and Combine Northwest Texas and North Texas into an Bishops area. They leave AC borders alone.

I would prefer they re-align around Major Metropolitan Areas but that would be a radical shift.
