Wrath: My Sermon

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to preach at 5 services at Resurrection’s Central Campus. It was a lot of fun. You can check out the manuscript at http://bit.ly/195vZu and see if I stuck to it in the video below. Enjoy!

    Andrew,

I did not have this morning to watch the video, but I appreciate you posting your outline. It find structure to be an issue I always wrestle with when writing sermons. Getting a look at the bones of other sermons is interesting and helpful.

Andrew, that was a great sermon. That very afternoon, I got a call from one sister telling me something another sister had done which caused me to be on a slow simmer. HAHAHA just like you illustrated. During the sermon when you had illustrated the crockpot I thought of my relationship with that sister because it is probably the biggest simmering crockpot issue in my life. So I thought about the times I am forgiven for my own foibles and weaknesses and was able to put your crockpot illustration and wrath sermon to some use that very afternoon.
